The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act is federal legislation whose purpose is to address the identification, enrollment, school stability, and success of these children and youth. As frontline workers, teachers and counselors need appropriate training and support to ensure student access and success. Join Project HOPE-Virginia staff to learn how you can help teachers and counselors make a difference in the lives of students experiencing homelessness.
