About me
With a career dedicated to shaping the future of education and the workforce, Eric is a seasoned professional committed to driving transformative change within teaching, learning, and leadership. His journey as an educator and leader has spanned over three decades, and the relentless pursuit of fostering excellence fuels him and his growth within educational and workforce landscapes. He is the Co-Founder and Lead Consultant of the Collaborative Teaching and Learning Group Consulting, LLC.
Most recently, he served as the Secondary Science Educational Specialist for Henrico County Public Schools (HCPS) in Virginia. His responsibilities included leadership development for administrators and teachers, professional learning and coaching teachers, curriculum design and development, and program creation and planning.
Before serving in HCPS, he served in roles such as Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Richmond Public Schools, Director for Science and Health Education for the Virginia Department of Education, and the Director for the Virginia Initiative for Science Teaching and Achievement at George Mason University, as well as serving as a middle and high school science teacher for more than a decade.
He has a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. With a career spanning over 30 years in education, serving in varying roles and organizations, his experience, expertise, and networks allow him to support his partners in reaching their goals.
