John Snoad is a lifelong, career educator with 34+ years of teaching and coaching in the high school arena, where he was rated accomplished and highly effective, with a focus on Government, Civics and both U.S. and World History. His experiences range from urban to suburban and rural schools and has effectively taught learners of all levels. John joined the Sphere team in September 2022 and embraces Sphere’s mission of improving and promoting civic culture and civil discourse in America’s schools. Relying on his diverse teaching experiences, as well as years of coaching high school football, John has a diverse skillset grounded on collaboration across the curriculum. John and his wife reside in Florida. They are co-authors of a book about their intertwining experiences as patient-survivor and caregiver surrounding his wife's cancer ordeal five years ago.
