About me
Maria is a Doctor of Educational Leadership and an Adjunct Professor with Superintendent/CSA and Principal certifications. Having more than 25 years of educational experience, Maria is a Conference Host, a Grant Writer and a National & International Guest Speaker/Presenter. While Maria serves as a visionary, innovative, and passionate advocate for Urban Education, she truly enjoys the mentoring process with administrative leaders, principals, pre-service, and beginning teachers. Teaching Alternate Route Teachers is also a a favorite! Most recently, Maria authored multiple book chapters, and is in the process of authoring her first book! Her research includes the study of Teacher Retention, School Climate and Culture, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity. Maria and her husband live in New Jersey, they have three children and two grandchildren.
