About me
Stephanie Stockman is the Division World Languages Education Specialist with Henrico County Public Schools in Virginia. She supports and guides 125 World Languages teachers to design and deliver innovative lessons to promote growth in students’ proficiency in their language of study. Stephanie facilitated, collaborated, and planned Henrico’s first Spanish dual language immersion program that launched in August 2021 at Elizabeth Holladay Elementary School. Stephanie received her Administration & Supervision degree from the University of Richmond. She attended the University of Valencia in Spain while completing her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. She is the immediate past president of Virginia’s Organization for World Languages Supervisors. She serves on the annual conference planning board for VASCD, is a member of ACTFL, NADSFL, and FLAVA; all professional associations for World Languages. She has presented at numerous local, state, and national conferences. Stephanie received her certification as a National Board Certified Teacher and is a Fulbright recipient. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, photography, and cooking.
