About me
I am in my 29th school year as an educator. I started my career as a middle school Social Studies Teacher in Pulaski, VA in 1995. I became a school administrator in Roanoke, VA in 2003. I served as an elementary principal from 2006 to 2020 - in Roanoke for 8 years and in Pulaski for 6 years. Then I served as a middle school principal in Pulaski for 4 years. Currently I am a Literacy Coach for 5 elementary schools in Pulaski with the goal of helping teachers with VLA implementation. I reside in Roanoke, VA but I am originally from Newport News, VA.
